Reverend George Matsubayashi joined the Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in April of 1999 as Rimban or head minister. He conducts services and study classes in English and Japanese, and performs duties of the head minister such as yearly planning and management, public relations, member of Board of Trustees, and leads special services at the Temple. He is the ministerial advisor for the Fujinkai, Hui Aikane, Nishi Day Care Center, and Saishin Dojo. He also speaks at other temples, conferences and seminars, and visits hospitals in the Los Angeles area as a Buddhist chaplain.

Reverend Bill Briones joined the Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in January of 2002. He conducts services and study classes in English and speaks at other temples, conferences, seminars and workshops. He is the ministerial advisor for the Dharma School, Nishi Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, and the Buddhist Education Committee.
